This test has been redeveloped and is scheduled to be retired in summer 2027. Registration for the redeveloped Elementary Education (Grades K–6) (702) test is now open for testing starting on June 29, 2026.

Format	Computer-based test; 150 multiple-choice questions
Time	4 hours and 15 minutes total appointment time 15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement 4 hours testing time
Test Dates	Administered by appointment year-round, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays). Check seat availability .
Test Sites	Located in Illinois and nationwide. Locate a test center .
Passing Score	240
